AR Sketch Drawing

Privacy Policy

Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains how AR Sketch Drawing handles your data — transparently and responsibly.

Welcome to AR Sketch Drawing. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about how our app works. This Privacy Policy describes what data we access, how it is used, and your rights — written in plain language so you always stay informed.

Camera — Our Only Permission

AR Sketch Drawing requests only one device permission: Camera. This single permission powers every AR drawing feature in the app. No location, no contacts, no microphone — just the camera, used entirely on your device.

🔍

Information We Access

01

AR Sketch Drawing is designed with a minimal data footprint. Here is a complete list of everything we access:

  • Camera feed — accessed in real time to render augmented reality drawing overlays on your screen.
  • Gallery images (optional) — only when you choose to import a photo as a drawing reference. This is entirely user-initiated.
  • Device diagnostics — basic crash and performance data collected anonymously by our analytics provider to help us fix bugs.

We do not access your contacts, location, microphone, calendar, health data, or any other personal information.

How We Use Camera Permission

02

The camera is the core engine of AR Sketch Drawing. Here is exactly how it is used:

  • To display a live AR canvas by overlaying your drawing guides on top of the real-world view captured by your camera.
  • To track surface depth and perspective so your sketches align naturally with the physical environment around you.
  • To render tracing outlines over objects or reference images in real time for assisted drawing.

Your camera feed is never recorded, saved, or uploaded. It is processed exclusively in real time on your device and discarded immediately after rendering each frame.

Everything Stays On Your Device

03

All image processing, AR rendering, and drawing operations happen entirely on your device. This is a deliberate architectural choice we made to protect your privacy.

When you import a photo from your gallery to use as a drawing reference, that image is loaded into the app's memory temporarily for overlay rendering. It is never transmitted to our servers, never stored in a database, and never shared with any third party. Once you close the session, the reference image is cleared from memory.

Because we do not transmit your content off your device, your drawings, camera views, and imported images remain entirely private — only you can see them.

⚙️

Why Camera Access Is Required

04

Camera permission is the only essential permission AR Sketch Drawing needs. Without it, the app cannot function — the augmented reality drawing experience depends entirely on a live camera feed to overlay sketches onto the real world.

If you deny or revoke camera permission, the core AR features of the app will be unavailable. You can manage this permission at any time through your device settings:

  • Settings → AR Sketch Drawing → Camera → Toggle On/Off

We will always ask for your explicit permission before accessing the camera and will never access it in the background or outside of active app usage.

📊

Analytics & Third-Party Services

05

We use minimal, privacy-focused analytics solely to monitor app stability and performance. This helps us detect crashes, identify performance bottlenecks, and ship better updates.

What analytics can see:

  • Device ID — a unique anonymous identifier used to distinguish devices for crash reporting and diagnostics.
  • Device Model — e.g., iPhone 15, iPad Pro, used to reproduce and fix device-specific bugs.
  • OS Version — the operating system version running on your device, used to ensure compatibility.
  • App Version — the installed version of AR Sketch Drawing, used to trace issues to specific releases.
  • Crash reports and error stack traces — detailed logs generated when the app encounters an unexpected error.
  • General app usage patterns — e.g., feature usage frequency — never linked to your identity.

What analytics cannot see:

  • Your camera feed or any images
  • Your drawings or sketches
  • Any personally identifiable information

All third-party analytics providers we use are contractually required to handle data in compliance with applicable privacy laws, including GDPR and CCPA.

📢

Advertising

06

AR Sketch Drawing is a free iOS app supported by ads. We use Google AdMob to serve advertisements within the app. This helps us keep the app free for everyone while continuing to improve it.

On iOS 14 and above, Apple requires apps to request your permission before tracking you across apps and websites for advertising purposes. You will see Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt when you first launch the app. You are free to allow or deny tracking — the app will work either way, though ads may be less relevant if tracking is denied.

What AdMob may collect to serve relevant ads:

  • IDFA (Identifier for Advertisers) — a resettable, anonymous identifier assigned by iOS (not linked to your name or personal identity). On iOS 14+, AdMob will request your permission via Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt before accessing this identifier.
  • Device information — such as device model, OS version, screen size, and language settings.
  • General location — country or region level only, derived from your IP address, to serve region-appropriate ads.
  • App interaction data — such as ad impressions and clicks, used to measure ad performance.

AdMob does not have access to your camera feed, your drawings, or any images you use in the app. Ads are shown in designated areas of the UI and do not interfere with the AR drawing experience.

You can reset or limit your device's Advertising ID at any time:

  • Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising → Turn off Personalized Ads.
  • iOS 14+: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking → Disable "Allow Apps to Request to Track" to block ad tracking entirely.

Google AdMob's data practices are governed by Google's Privacy Policy. We encourage you to review it at policies.google.com/privacy for full details on how Google handles advertising data.

Data Security

07

Because AR Sketch Drawing does not transmit your camera feed or personal content to any external server, the attack surface for a data breach is virtually zero for your creative content.

The minimal diagnostic data we do collect (crash logs and performance metrics) is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections and stored in secured, access-controlled environments. We retain this data only as long as necessary to resolve issues and improve the app.

We regularly review our security practices and update our systems to stay aligned with industry standards.

🧒

Children's Privacy

08

AR Sketch Drawing is a creative drawing tool suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the applicable age in your region).

Since our app does not collect accounts, profiles, or personal data of any kind, there is no risk of inadvertent collection of children's personal information through normal use of the app.

If you are a parent or guardian and have concerns, please contact us at the email below and we will respond promptly.

⚖️

Your Privacy Rights

09

Because AR Sketch Drawing does not create user accounts or store personal data on servers, most traditional data rights (access, deletion, portability) are not applicable — your data never leaves your device in the first place.

However, you retain full control in the following ways:

  • Revoke camera permission at any time via device settings to stop all camera access.
  • Delete the app to completely remove all locally stored app data, settings, and cached content from your device.
  • Opt out of analytics by contacting us — we will provide instructions for your specific device and OS version.

Residents of the EU (GDPR), California (CCPA), and other privacy-regulated regions may contact us to request information about data processing practices applicable to their jurisdiction.

Changes to This Policy

10

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as the app evolves or as legal requirements change. When we make significant changes, we will notify you through an in-app notification or by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.

We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of AR Sketch Drawing after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy. If you do not agree with the revised policy, you may stop using the app and uninstall it at any time.
